Ziptrek Ecotours is NZ's #1 Original Zipline tour company. Our multi award winning company offers a spectacular and fun zipline eco-adventure through the forest canopy high above Queenstown, on Skyline Gondola hill, situated a few minutes walk from the CBD.

Operating in some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery that Queenstown has to offer, there is now an activity for everyone, no matter their age or ability.
Guests check-in and meet their guides at the "Ziptrek Guest Services Treehouse", 100 metres to the left of the Skyline Gondola upper terminal. All guests will be fitted with a zipping harness and helmet.
Guests can reach our tours by either taking the gondola (cost not included in our tour price) or walk up the adventurous Tiki Trail (allow a minimum 1 hour, longer if travelling with younger or older people).
The ziplines are gravity fed, so guests do not have to worry about controlling their own speed. Two tour guides will accompany guests on their tour, one guide to connect (launch platform) and one guide to disconnect (landing platform) each and every guest.
The educational component provides a unique insight into the surrounding environment on both a local and global scale. Meanwhile, the ziplines provide an adrenaline rush like no other!

Tours include stair climbing and trail walking. Guests must be able to walk unassisted Guests are required to wear sensible closed toed footwear and wear extra layers as it is cooler in the forest canopy. Ski clothing encouraged in winter months. Ages 6 years old and up (Please advise at time of booking if your child is under 30kg/65lbs as they may be required to go tandem with our experienced guides) ***UPDATED COVID19 RESPONSE: Until further notice the tandem option is unavailable Upper weight limit 125 kg (275lbs) Minimum weight limit of 20kg (44lbs) on the Kereru Tour and 30 kg (66lbs) on the Kea Tour Guest must be a minimum of 15 years old to zip without a guardian All participants under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian signature on their waiver Pregnant guests are unable to take part in a zipline tour. We encourage you to leave your personal belongings behind as you may be unable to take a backpack or handbag on tour with you During the busy Christmas and New Years period we recommend a minimum of 1.5 hr to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal due to higher visitor numbers and associated increase in queuing times
Cancellation Policy Ziptrek cancellations that are made outside of the 24 hour cancellation policy are subject to a refund of the total package price. Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to tour departure or 'no shows' will be charged full tour price. Please check your booking information carefully to ensure that all information is correct and that you arrive at the Treehouse at your scheduled check-in time. A re-scheduling fee will be charged if change is made within 24 hours of original tour time. Ziptrek Ecotours reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather foreseeable hazards insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. In these events full refunds will be made or alternative dates offered. Our cancellation policy remains the same during COVID19.
